We've been at this for a few years here but this year we have some solid sponsors and the GA Craft Brewers Guild was able to retain a lobbyist. We've been on most of the local TV and radio stations. There's a local conservative talk host that is a big craft beer fan and he's talked with Senator Hill and Governor Deal about the issue.

This time around we've got a lot of the public aware of the bill, and most of them seem very supportive. However, as expected, we're getting a lot of opposition from the wholesalers, and they have deep pockets.

I hope this bill has a chance to remove us Georgians from the darkness and allow the state and cities to have destination breweries and make the local scene for beer like those in other neighboring states.

This is great, it's good to see the willingness and support for making a place for great beer to be made.
