I wasn't sure where to post this question, but figured traders could help.

I plan on going to Germany, Austria, and Italy this fall. Obviously I will be buying beer I can't get here in the US. What is the best way to get said beer home? Is there a specific shipping method? How much can I take home in my luggage? Etc.

I would love to hear from anyone with experience and/or advice.

    Thanks, Eric

It's pricey to ship. Just enjoy the beers there while you're traveling and maybe pack a few of your favorites in your luggage when you return. Airlines allow up to 50 lbs, but what a pain to drag 50 lbs of beer around those 3 countries unless you have a rented car.
