Settings Option to turn off big yellow banners

    Forgive me if this option already exists. Would be nice to have it, as the required reading yellow banners feel quite similar to pop ups on various sites which can be frustrating.

    We're not going to disable site "notices," or code an option to ignore them, however, you can dismiss a notice by clicking on the light gray "X" located to the absolute right of the notice box.

    This feature has been in place since since 2012.

    The banner lately seems much more intrusive.

    The bills indeed must be paid,as we age together one of the most seductive things I find of Mrs. Nebbie is her ability to pay the bills without my involvement, hence no pop ups in my personal life to cut into my quality drinking time

    It's a dismissable site notice, not a banner. All we did was change the color, which has yielded a huge increase in views for the targeted content; the majority of which is site related.

    It's really not that big of a deal. I'm sure your banking site has more annoying banners/ads than this and as @Todd mentioned you may click on the X.
