Here’s a little inside information. The breweries are asked to have one beer to be poured all three session and two beers to change each session.

I'm a little biased but something I always tell people when they ask me about The Festival is...every year there is a Westvleteren table...with no one standing in line. That's how great everything else is! Where else will you not just try what he's pouring but ask Armand DeBelder what his favorite IPA is or tell Jean Van Roy you like Lindeman's better or give Dan Shelton sh#t to his face! I love Hunahpu's Day but it just doesn't compare. The Festival is on a level all its own.

Dan Shelton has a folder of presigned autographs to keep things moving. Well, maybe not.

Here is to hoping the FL breweries bring some big guns (like many of the CA breweries did last year.)

Feel a bit weird going solo to a beer festival but that tap list is insane.

That's what I'm doing. Wifey can't make it. Look for the guy in a Manchester United jersey. Chances are that's what I'll be wearing. Tap list is too epic, I now don't even care that I'm riding solo

That’s got to be the most Homerish thing I’ve ever seen! A huge listing of some of the best brewers from around the world and you’re looking forward to the local stuff?

I can confirm, if you email (the original ticket owner) info@beerfests.com and give them your name, your ticket number and the name you want it transferred to, they take care of it very quick. They even issue a new ticket (with a new ticket number) to the new person and make the old ticket# invalid. They were super easy and friendly to work with. I have buddies that have both switched it to one of our friends, and buddies who have transferred to a stranger via BA or the like with PayPal etc. That being said, I am ready for this festival, the Tap List (capitalized as you are supposed to when something is that proper) plus associated activities should be awesome, see everyone there!

Not at all what I meant. I want the locals to bring their A game. I want those coming from out of town to enjoy the awesome beers the local breweries are making. Additionally, I found it odd that these two don't have their beers listed considering this event is soon and these two big names are relatively close in proximity to the venue.

if you look at the breweries that were from CA that attended last year, they brought a lot of awesome beers to represent their state. People from out of state got to sample some really awesome CA beers.

I am looking forward to a lot of beers on that list, equally spread out across the spectrum.

Mazzaro's is the bomb! Not sure what day you're coming over but the market has broken more than a few hearts -- including mine -- in its day by closing at 2:30 on Saturdays and not being open at all Sundays.

The CLOSEST place would be the Tap Room at the Hollander Hotel, which is a block from The Coliseum. There are a bunch of really good places downtown and a stroll over to and down Beach and/or Bay Shore drives likely would do all of us attendees some good!

My favorites include Bodega (Cuban/Spanish), Mercado (Mexican), Urban Brew & BBQ, Engine No. 9 (burgers), Moon Under Water (colonial Indian/English; curry!) and Locale Market (choices for everyone). Z Grille gets a lot of love, too. Hit me up if you want more ideas.

And to be clear, my list isn't exhaustive. You'd get 100 different responses if you asked 100 different people. No offense intended if I omitted anyone's favorite.

Mazzaros is still awesome but another market to try out is Locale Market. I prefer Mazzaros but it gives you another place to check out.

The mill, couple blocks from cycle. Food, drinks are amazing. Small beer list, but lots of local.
