Shoreline out of Michigan City came out with some BA limited release bottles recently. I picked up a couple, but have not popped any yet.

Any one have any of them yet?

Are these the 2009 BA beers released back in the spring or did they just release a new batch of them (2010)?? IMHO, the BA series from Shoreline hasn't been good since the 2007 series. There are still places around here with 2008s on the shelf.

I've seen these around at multiple places and have never pulled the trigger because of the price. They also don't seem to move because they are the same ones that were there a year ago. I would be interested to hear some BA's thoughts on them.

2007 BA Lost Sailor is still drinking incredibly.

I had the '09 BA stout and BA Barleywine and although good I was not very impressed.

The 07s are the best and I haven't really been impressed too much since. I've also noticed a bit of bottle variation. The Cab Barrel Imperial Raspberry is nice but at that price tag it's hard to pull the trigger again.

Not sure if the '2010's are out yet. Much preferred the bottles with 2007 on them to 2008 because of carbonation issues. Didn't buy any of the 2009 bottles since no one had any info on how carbed they were - not going to spend that much money on a crapshoot.

Good info. I'm looking forward to trying them shortly, and will post impressions.

They aren't cheap, that's for sure.
