It has been that way for several years now. 6 different beers, 3 of each.

Hoping to pick up the Hoppy Holidays pack. Any sightings in NE Ohio yet?

I had the pleasure of attending the GABF a few weeks ago. Chuggasus was by far the best IPA I had that night.

Wow, that’s interesting. Did your sample have TONS of sediment and floaters in it?

I had a 4 pack and thought it was pretty decent, but it was maybe the chunkiest looking beer I’ve ever had, which isn’t really an issue for me, but the flavor was quite unexpected. Whatever “natural flavors” were added really stuck out for me and seemed to dominate the taste profile. Wondering if the cans I had were maybe a little off.

I love most Short’s IPA’s but tend to avoid the flavored/fruited ones…wish they would have made it clear in the description.

Glad you liked it though! Feel like Short’s love has been lacking lately.

No floaties in my sample. But then again, it was only a one ounce sample.

Tea Pain is fantastic! It's exactly what I hoped it was, barrel aged London Fog.

I hope moving forward we get some more barrel aged twists on classics hit distribution now that it seems the private stache series is on hold or done for the time being. I would love to see Bourbon Bellaire Brown which I think it is called Huckster. I never had it, but have seen it pop up on the COLA registry from time to time and there was the one time they bottled it for one of their beer paired dinners back in 2016/2017.

I had BBA Bellaire Brown at the pub last month and it was great!

Really hope to see Tea Pain, sounds delicious.

They’ve had 22’s of Huckster at Tom’s in Northport for months, maybe even close to a year. I’ll see if they’re dated next time I’m in there. I haven’t tried the bottled version but did have the Bourbon Bellaire Brown at the pub as well. Enjoyed it but think their brown is maybe a little thin for the bourbon treatment. Wondering if it’s the same batch as the bottled version…?

Just went to the local store to get some Spruce and stumbled into Nitro Cup a Joe. Not sure why I had in my head that it was going to be BBA Joe, when clearly it’s stated upthread NITRO.

In any event, can’t wait to dive in. Feels like the last time I had the regular version was like 2014, but that can’t be right, can it??

That seems right. I still have one 12oz bottle left.

I rather enjoyed the winter pilsner. Putting pine trees on the can was a bit deceptive though, and had me expecting spruce.

Nitro Cup a Joe is really good, but I prefer the regular version. Looks like Evil Urges and Hopstache will be back next month, and Psychedelic Cat Grass will be a year round offering starting in March. Makes me wonder if a year rounder is being dropped from the lineup to make room for Cat Grass.

Yeah, I don't know. I took it as full cases of each but I hope you're right.

Had my first Nitro Joe and I agree with you. This version is much thinner and not as tasty as the regular, IMO.

Interesting indeed. I applaud their efforts to try something different. But the last case of beer I purchased was Bell's Saturn and only because where else could you purchase a case of a barrel aged barleywine for $43.

I just don't see sales being good enough to make this a long term strategy. Most craft drinkers won't purchase a case of anything. So then you need a drinker to coordinate with friends to plan ahead for a case purchase? Not very likely. Perhaps the designated retail locations will order a few cases and bust them up at their shops.
