Anyone have any experience aging Shorts sours? I find Exeter and Peachy Pom really really sour this release. Will aging calm that down a bit?

Unfortunately down to my last 2 bottles of PCG. Anyone know if there are bottles still kicking around Chicago?

It's everyone's taste of Fall, Autumn Ale!

It's a toss up for me between this and Good Humans for favorite seasonal ale. Amd despite the name, Autumn Ale is delicious in any weather. The herbal hops are strong with this one.

Traditional sours would actually get more tart with age. Since I'm guessing these were lacto kettle soured and flash pasteurized in the bottle there won't be any change. I'm making the assumption they were flash pasteurized because every single sour my friend has run samples exhibits absolutely no life, unusual for a wild ale/sour. I am glad to see the new format for this, as $16/22oz seemed a bit expensive when it was released last year.

Is this worth driving to from Houghton? Heard mostly good but a little bad about it, and looking for some insight.

    Any idea on brewery list?

I've been to it every year, and honestly like it less and less each time. They keep cramming more, and more, and MORE people in. The first year they had a few hundred people and last year I think it was 7,000.

On the other hand, the beer list is stupid.

So no one realizes the error here? @SeanfromShorts, does anyone in the company realize that the picture this label references is actually of Nick Nolte, not Gary Busey.

I always had fun. I attended the first three of them (2009-2011), while I was living in Marquette. It was great each time I went. I have heard that it has been getting a little big for it's britches in the last few years though. Really crowded/long waits for pours. The beers that breweries bring are always excellent though. Lots of draft only/stuff you don't see on the shelf type beers.

    NEIPA Nolte?

Oh, geez. I dunno why I didn't see this, Nolte's mugshot is legendary.

We couldn't do a direct likeness of faces due to trademark issues. The Nolte style hair had a more dramatic feel for the hazy style of beer...

Uhhhhhh......Wut? If you modeled that picture off of Nick Nolte, why name it after Gary Bussey

Was Nick'S Nor Easter taken? Nick's New England taken too?

So Kind Ale is keg only now. Hopefully that means Devils Lettuce is replacing it.

The yield is always so low, we decided to do kegs only in order to hit more territory.
