This highly anticipated specialty offering is on schedule to be bottled within a few days.

any idea how long this will be out for? I am coming to MI in early May for my brother's graduation and this seems like a perfect beer to sit back and enjoy with the family.

It will most likely hit stores in early April, so you will probably be able to find it, if you search around enough.

Specialty offerings are only released once a year, though, so if demand is high, finding some in May could be challenging.

Thanks for the input. My parents live really close to the brewery so I might just have them snag some from around town and bring it downstate just in-case

Sweet! I love sessionable IPAs, and the wet-hopped Kind Ale was so good!

What's the ABV on this? Also, I'm really curious what the difference is between "session IPA" and "hoppy pale ale". I can't really see one.

So is this the same recipe as the Ale La Reverend with a new name?

Ale La Reverend is a different beer which will be released later in the year.

ABV of Prolonged is around 3.5-4%

Session IPA's are known for their low ABV, hence the "Session". Hoppy Pale Ales can have more of a variance.

Ale La Reverend was amazing last year. Looking forward to this one

I am sure this would be good stuff, but think personally I would rather session and take my time with reg. ipas. Just had Short's ControversiALE and for the abv, just take your time as I believe this would be have more flavour. But somewhat unfair as I have not had this yet. Just going off experience.

    $10.59 per 6 pack I believe (for a 4% ish AVB....seems steep)

Not too worried about it since most of my All Day is on tap, anyway, but do you think Founder's could sell it for less if they wanted to? $7.99 or $8.99?? Their capacity certainly isn't that of Sierra Nevada, but don't you think this would popularize the beer further if feasible for them?

Damn, the Meijer I go to in Howell originally had All Day for 10.99, but the last month they have dropped it down to 7.99, although its not the freshest.

Can't wait for the PE, had it on tap at the pub and liked it. I have been drinkin controversiALE lately to get my fix.

Just got back from Shorts, where I had some PE on tap. It was very good. I'd have enjoyed it more if I hadn't just wrecked my palate with some Hopstache. In any case, this is a good alternative to Founders All Day...
