Shorts Takeover at Ashley's

    For those going tomorrow, don't bother. 2.5 hours into the event, they are out of dirty bird and BA Cherry Porter. They don't have extras of anything so all the good items are going to go tonight and leave nothing for tomorrow.

    Kind of a bummer but I confirmed they didn't save anything for tomorrow.

    There is definitely no reason to go tomorrow now. If only you and Romulux would have saved some for the rest of us!

    Watch out for that Romulux guy. First he buys you a beer. Next he invites you over to a tasting where he is opening a bunch of rare beer. Then you become friends with him and you have to receive beer related texts from him all day everyday. It's just a downward spiral you don't want to get involved in.

    That was the only other one, I wish I would have tried! Was it any good?

    The BB Black Cherry was fantastic! Best Short's brew, I have ever had!

    My favorite was dirty bird, cherry and grasshoppa were my second and third place. I love the minty IPA though, that's rare.

    Yes, Minty IPA's accumulate lots of "rare" points. If it was Spear"minty" I will claim that "that" is the best Short's beer I have ever had! Although, I have NEVER had it!

    Damn it! the bba cherry porter blew like right b/f i got there, I was holding out a little hope that they would have some for tomorrow but looks like that's in the shitter. Got 2 more freakin tickets too...so looks like I'm in for some huma and nice spicie!

    They are still available. I mean regardless it's still a legit tap Takeover. The shorts reps are legit guys and really what we all look for in a brew pub. Plenty left for $5 a pint, just the two heavy hitters are goneZ

    I want more dirty bird.

    My nephew got the last BB Black Cherry. I was clock watching.......7:14 pm. Lasted longer than Back Note did, a few months ago.

    BB Black Cherry was amazing, I also enjoyed Aphasia and the Wizard. I don't remember bottled Wizard being that good.

    Aphasia, Grasshoppa, BB Cherry were great.
    My favorite was definitely Dirty Bird, it makes me crazy Bourbon Huma.

    Liberator
    Spruce Pils
    Short's Cake
    Richard In The Dirt
    Cerverza De Julie
    Chocolate Wheat

    Maybe Aphasia (which was tasting incredible!)
