Recently acquired Dogfish Head long stemmed wine glass from dazedandconfused
My humble collection.
(L-R; Half Acre 20 oz., New Glarus 20th Anniversary Pilsner, Lagunitas jar, Lost Abbey teku, Doom feku, Prairie Artisan Ales snifter, Three Floyds teku, Greenbush snifter, Duvel snifter, Founders Bolt Cutter.)
Tonight, these will be christened properly with an enthusiastic, high velocity, German pils toast. Prost!
That's a lot of goblet...
Looking for 1 and you found 2 KBS goblet chalices?
So....one for trade? Please?
Not KBS? What's wrong with you??
Like going to a rock concert and not wearing your band shirt to match. Big no no.
Some day I'll get one of those.
Ok, I just acquired some glassware that is worth posting here, it is about time I learn how to post a picture, anyone wanna hit me up with instructions how to do so and I would appreciate it.
I just got this big bastard from Chuglife, I was ecstatic when they both fit.
Some day perhaps. But for now...nope.
Wearing the band shirt to the band's show = ultimate amateur mistake.
Not using proper glassware when you have said glassware = #improper.
Either case = don't be that guy.
Figured I'd finally take some pics...
Tekus: Lost Abbey, FFF
Snifters: 2013 Hunah, 2012 Hunah, FL Beer Co. Swamp Ape, 2013 Hunah
More tulips: Founders, New Belgium, Brewery Vivant, Russian River, Delirium
More tulips: Brawleys Beverage Black & Blue, Bells, Piraat, 7venth Sun
Some awesome new glassware just showed up from Belgium
Is that a new Westvleteren Chalice? The writing and logo on mine are completely different.
Yes. Came out a few months ago I believe
That explains it, I did a double-take when I saw it, especially two of them in a row. I can't decide if I like this one better, it's kind of jarring for some reason.
I actually like the older one better. I brought it back with me from Belgium in 08 and its still my favorites glass. But then again I'm a westvleteren homer
Yeah, I think I agree, but the new one does have some kind of boldness that I like. Hopefully I can find one next time I'm over there.
finally snagged the CS 2012 Glass and i can properly drink the Persica i have been saving ! **didnt come cheap fyi
My new Glasswhale set:
Take the pic with beer in the glass!
Where did you find this?
Nothing fancy here, but I just wanted to show off my new favorite glass, filled with a southern english brown from the kegerator! Don't mind my delicious dinner either...
Just did some cleaning of glasses, so there was time for a family shot. Not really a collection, but just what has accumulated over the course of time. Some of my former favorites (a big Pokal by Schneider Weisse) are not with me anymore...
The big mug in the background is my favorite. I rarely use it, but I inherited that from my grandparents' house.
Looking at the picture now, I realize there are two ordinary pint glasses missing.
Wow!!! Where did you land it? What did you give up? I've been searching for the set for a while.
Is that a new glass?
Very cool, ISO for sure, not a fan of the other glass they have, I need that one!
Took a trip to Asheville and came back with just as much glass as beer.
These tasters are my fave. They weren't for sale...
A set sold on eBay about a month ago. Went for about $50 I think?
wow, wonder how i missed that, i have a saved search. also, great avatar!
Saved searches are nice but they don't notify you the same minute an item is listed. An item could go up and sell within in a hour and you would never know. I learned that the hard way!
A couple nice new pieces arrived last week:
Showed up today in a dented box with a "tink tink tink" noise... thought for sure the glass was broken. Turns out it was just the free keychain banging against the extra pint glass they sent me. Close call.
Bought it at least a few years back at the brewpub. Not sure the back story on it or how long it was sold for. It's one of my favorites.
