quik shop. Hoping it will make it around to other locations this week
WIll i see this in Pittsburgh by chance???
I know it hit in Raleigh on this past Friday. Looks like it's sold out at Bottle Rev and Tasty now.
I always find it interesting to see comments like this. Some places see cases just piling up on the floor, while the stuff flies off the shelf in a day or two in other locales.
For better or worse, DFW is NOT one of those locales in which anything of varying specialty sits by the case.
anyone seen this in AZ? Is it even coming to AZ?!?
We got it in Tucson last week.
what store? Just called TW here in Glendale and the guy said they aren't getting it this year.
Oregon folks. Im assuming this may be dropping this week? Havent seen or heard anything about it yet
I think they got 3 cases total , one bottle limit, only one bottle left on the shelf.
I just picked me up a bottle of this! Saving it til xmas!!!
Was willing to snag 2 of these despite the $20 price point, just because of how much I enjoyed BA Bigfoot and how much I respect SN in general. Yet to crack the first one open though. To those in raleigh that might b interested, there were 2 left at Tylers bottle shop as of last night.
This just hit downtown Chicago. VERY limited quantities. $21.99.
Can confirm, more arrived today at the local shops.
Dang, it really grinds my gears that we cannot get this in Ohio. Would anyone take pity and send a bottle this way?
Indeed. My Binny's got only a single case, although the price was a little better at $19.99. I was lucky it showed up during my lunch so I could snag one.
What Binnys was this?
Probably Binny's Grand. They only got one case and it was gone in 10 minutes.
Yup. $19.99 retail, $21.92 out the door. One bottle went to some random who was there for something else and asked what we were waiting for, having no idea what this beer was.
I just walked in and grabbed one at lunch. They got Celebration in as well!
Arrived—and nearly all left—the Raleigh-Durham area on Friday. There's sporadic sightings here and there, but it went fast. $20.99 seemed to be the average price.
San Roque Liquor said Friday.
Any sightings in vermont yet?! Going there this weekend, my hopes are high!
K&B has them for $23.
I got 2 today in Bowling Green KY. 20 bux.
Is this going to be a hard beer to get? I mean SV is everywhere.
I got mine at the blossom hill store last week. Plus they got FIFTEEN cases of Pliny. Ridick.
Highland Park Binny's posted it on Twitter a few hours ago. I just picked one up for $20 and believe they had a few left.
What about Roch/Buff NY ?
Was excited to see this at the store the other day, then I saw the price.
$20 is crazy for a bomber, barrel aged or not. Anyone here willing to pay $65 for a 6-pack of this? Cause that's what the math works out to!
Well then you sir have more money than I do
Earlier in this thread I said $20 was too much for me, but I went into a small shop looking for something else and saw they had it for $14.99. I pulled the trigger at that price which is where I'd expect it to go for. Also I'd just been hired at my first real job out of college so I felt like celebrating.
Then again people pay ~$20 for Bruery beers so BA Narwhal isn't a huge stretch.
For what it is worth, when the BA-Bigfoot was released a couple years back, we retailed it at $15. I was only allotted one case, so expecting that to be the case this time around as well.
Congrats, Good Luck, and Cheers!!
Had this on tap last weekend and could swear I was drinking bourbon county. Awesome beer!
I think Peabodys in Boone has some, Chris thought they got 5 cases or so. Amazing how Boone gets 5x the volume as a Binnies but I suppose so much competation kinda spreads things out.
What about for a 750ml?
Its a 750 ml bottle not a bomber.
That's only 3 more ounces, not really a big difference. The price per ounce would be comparable to a $10 bottle of BCBS, which people would say is a rip off for what is probably a better beer.
Has anyone seen this in Arkansas or Joplin/Springfield Missouri yet?
