So enjoyed my first of '19. Just what I wanted on a 50 degree crisp evening.

    Little hoppy...
    Little malty...
    Little spicy...:yum:

    ...Just perfect for me.

Having my first right now, excellent as always. This is one of the few beers I purchase by the case.

Two Hearted is everywhere, it’s fresh and it’s a great beer, they hit a serious hr here.

I picked up a six pack and had my first bottle last night, bottled on 10/02. I enjoyed it and will happily drink them all but it's still not an OMG wow! Beer for me. And it's funny how tastes and palates change over time, as while definitely hoppy it's not all that bitter to me anymore.

The head and lacing is definitely something and I may even classify it as a red IPA at this point, nice deep color on this beer. Again definitely enjoyed it but will probably be just a one six pack purchase like with past years.

And I am picking up on some slight rose characteristics like I have in some past versions, I enjoy it.

One of the few shelfies that I will always go and get.

You should make an imperial version of Northern Hemisphere next year and call it “Bicentennial”.

I had a Northern Hemisphere last night and really tried to dissect it and compare it to Celebration.

I feel like the biggest difference is simply that it’s a wet hop beer. Comes off grassier and danker than Celebration. And the hops being that fresh really skews the balance more towards the hops.

Meanwhile Celebration is much more balanced with a distinct caramel malt backbone.

Doesn’t the first snow often happen before December 1st many places?

But yeah, this early is a bit ridiculous.

    Time to “celebrate” then!

We'll get snow here in November, but rarely 6 inches in October. Of course, it's all melted away now, so only a memory, but it stunted trick-or-treating pretty badly.

FWIW, I had a 2019 Celebration tonight, really nostalgic to my taste buds. Love that hop combo and reminds me of what hoppy beers used to be.

$14.77 a 12 pack this week. This must be Sierra Nevada Country.

A constancy (even with subtle variation) in an anything but world. A taste of nostalgia for sure.

Thanks for elaborating. I was so confused by these posts and talk of “spices”.

For a lot of us old timers, the yearly celebration "misinformation" thread is almost as enjoyable and welcome as the arrival of the beer itself. :sunglasses:

6 inches, holy crap, I didn’t realize that!

It was 70 here in Boston for Halloween.

Picked up a six pack of Celebration today. Saw two different places today that had large displays just for Celebration. Good to know this beer gets recognition in the age of juice.

It's so refreshing, I know you guys agree. To sit back and have one of these after all the other beers coming out, this year seems like especially alot with all the hazy stuff going mainstream etc etc. I was curious how this was gonna hit my taste but man its right on. Cheers guys

Totally agree with this. Each year I laugh at it even though the joke is as old as the hills...........and me I guess. Oh well, the beer is still really good which is all that counts.

Is Celebration brewed more than once? My Local TotalWine already ran out, can I assume they will get another shipment?

@SierraTerence -- but I'll go out on a limb and say yes, there are probably a few batches brewed throughout the season. That's how they brew Summerfest and the Oktoberfest collaborations.
