Good quote in your post above. What I should have written in my initial post (#52) is that my first impression of the beer suggested to me that SN might be targeting a slightly lower carb level for Celebration. Could be totally wrong. Just curious…

I'm sure they're looking for a nice, smooth body -- even similar to cask ales. Carb bite would distract from the goodness of the beer.

That's the equivalent of 6.8 standard beers (12 oz. at 5%).

    Good for you!

I think it was last year when someone at my local TJ's found a spot in a prominent cooler to stock some Celebration. First and last time I have seen that happen for any beer at TJs. I was there last night. Celebration yet to arrive.

It just dropped at local Total Wines, $16.99 for a 12 pack of cans. Thursday is close enough to the weekend for me. That's my plan and I'm sticking to it.

The closet TW now only shows cases of bottles arriving in November. All other package formats do not show any arrival time.

    Enjoy

I haven't lived back East in a while, but are there no Wegmans or Whole Foods in your area? They always seemed to have particularly good craft beer selections when I lived in Baltimore. For that matter, maybe check with the local distributor to see when they're expecting to get in a drop of SN Celebration?

SEPA always seemed to have one of the best distribution systems in the country when I lived back East. It just seems surprising that you're having any sort of problem finding cans or bottles of Celebration.

Picked up the first of two anticipated 12-packs for the elongated holiday season, which may last into March with the SNBC Celebration super-durable hops. Cans dated 9-30-22; picked up at the Hendersonville, NC Harris Teeter for $15.99.
    Cheers!

We get plenty of great beer including all the SN brands. I like to take a short ride over the border to get Celebration as it’s substantially less money and I get my once a year to check out all the other beers and buy some other alcohol at a good discount to PA.

PA also does not get the bottles anymore.

    Enjoy

Great point. Red label and the beer’s name is “Celebration” . . . bet some people would buy it just because of this if they saw it while shopping.

Celebration cans were indeed can conditioned last year. I’d be surprised if that changes. I remember Terrance saying the original 4 beers will always be conditioned. pale ale, celebration, Porter, and stout

Well it's only Game 1 tonight. Plenty of time for Celebration to arrive before it's time to actually celebrate (from a jealous Red Sox fan).

I'm seeing it delivered to some places the next town over, two days ago, I assume I'll see it locally next week. I just checked my posts from last year and my first Celebration post was
10/28, so it's on schedule, give or take a few days

[EDIT: Actually the beer finder says a couple places had it delivered 3 days ago in Van Nuys - might go investigate this weekend...]
