I missed out on Hoppy Lager the first time around, it does sound pretty good...

How 'bout an all Kolsch summer pack?

Glad to see Glissade being mentioned, I bring that beer up often in the hopes that it one day makes a return.

Not a bad lineup but I'd rather have the Kolsch and the Kellerweis than some of the others I can get easily all year round.

I don't think we get Staub in Queens/NYC. Only one I found was Lancaster, good price too, but haven't seen it since.

Only PA as far as I know. My sister gets me a case every year. They are doing some really nice things lately.

I'd like to see the Kolsch again, as well. I'll pick up a pack regardless, because their beer is on sale every few weeks and although I like some of their beers better than others, their is a consistency and quality I like in their products.

I would definitely pass on this summer pack as it is now. Not a gose fan, nooner disappoints me compared to Summerfest, don't care for session ipas and that just leaves the hoppy lager, which I really enjoyed. I will still be buying a bunch of Summerfest so SN will be getting my money regardless.

Has anyone seen this around yet? I'm curious as to what the final line-up ended up being. (Their website is never updated in a timely manner when it comes to the variety packs.)

@sierranevadabill Earlier in the thread (~Feb) it was mentioned that the likely line-up would be: "Otra Vez, Nooner, Hoppy Lager redux, and a new session IPA called 11.5 Plato." Has that remained accurate?

I heard it was SNPA,Nooner,11.5 and Hoppy Lager redux but have not seen it yet.

Much rather see Summerfest that either Nooner or otra vez. Actually would just like to see Summerfest in cans period.

Can't wait! I agree that Orta Vez should be added. Would make nice addition.

I think only one year round beer should be in a variety pack - or if it has to be 2 make it something seldom seen like Kellerweis.

The pack is: Pale Ale, Nooner, 11.5 Plato, Hoppy Lager. We're brewing the beers now and expect to see some in-market by mid May.

Not sure if you guys knew this or not but Glissade sorta lives on as part of SN's "Old Chico" lineup (Old Chico Pale Bock). It's probably not the exact same recipe but it's delicious and as close as you are going to get until Glissade makes a comeback. It's kind of difficult to find though unfortunately.

Personally I can't wait for this years SN Oktoberfest collab. I probably bought like 10 cases of that stuff last year! Possibly beer of the year for me last year haha

I agree. I'm bummed that there's a session IPA in this and no Kolsch. Really enjoyed the SN Kolsch last year. But I believe we will still be able to look forward to my favorite SN brew in their Fall Pack - Vienna Lager! @sierranevadabill - any plans on making Vienna Lager a six pack this year? (I figure it's an extremely slim chance but never hurts to keep bugging you about it!)

I'll join you in support of Vienna Lager. I had no expectation of that beer being the best in the Fall pack, and it was. A lovely beer that I'd love in 6pks

Ok fine - I'd support a 12 pack of just the Kolsch and Vienna Lager then.

Disappointing ... Last years summer pack was perfection: k├Âlsch, kellerweiss, pilsner and pale ale - just a phenomenal lineup.

Two years ago we released cans of Summerfest, and haven't done any since. We stopped because it was a little odd to do one seasonal and not the others, but honestly, we're not sure if we're going to do all the seasonals in cans yet. Something about Celebration cans doesn't feel quite right, you know?

Society Trader want Summerfest in cans? I have to agree. I went beer shopping today and didn't get any Sierra Nevada because they didn't have cans at the store. Tomorrow I will go where I know they have them!

I should have drank the 11.5 Plato Session Ale before the Hoppy Lager. It was pretty bland following the Hoppy Lager.

Boom! Last night my wife surprised me with this pack last night. Tried the 11.5 first. I liked it but I don't love it. I would not buy it regularly. IN general I am not a fan of session IPA style. Good aroma and citrus bite but kind of dank. Very dry.

Hoppy Lager being back is awesome and still delicious. Then I had the SNPA and of course awesome.

Just doing the summer seasonal in cans makes sense. People are doing more outdoor activities in summer, and cans are better suited to places like the beach, camping, cookouts, etc. For example, the place on the Cape we visit every summer has a strict no-glass policy for the private beach, so I stock up on cans of beers like Cisco Summer of Lager and Troegs Sunshine Pils.

Hoppy Lager needs to become a year round beer. There would be nothing else in my fridge if it was year round. I love that beer. I think I bought 3 cases of it when it was the beer camp release.

I saw it yesterday at Wegmans. I'll be picking one up soon. Hoppy Lager is the primary reason. If I remember the ingredients correctly, I believe it's a different recipe this year (though I will never know taste-wise, as I didn't have it last year.) Bittering Hops: Palisade, El Dorado | Finishing Hops: Citra Equinox. Sounds really interesting.
