It's a great redesign. Dare I say one of the best brewery sites out there, no question.

The web designer in me likes it, the web developer in me hates it.

    ...I guess it's alright.

That brand story video is really a game-changer. The footage montage is a little over-the-top cheesy, but to even see a craft brewery doing something like this is pretty significant. I hope it does a lot for them.

    I'm sensing a little bias...

I make no qualms about being a Sierra Nevada fanboy, but as someone who dabbles in and has an appreciation for web design, I'd like to say I'm unbiased and simply enjoy the website's new look. I'm happy to put it up against other well-designed brewery sites. Any you like better?

None that I can think of.

It would make for an interesting article -- now that I think about it, there might have been a post about best and worst brewery websites.

I really like Left Hand's, too.

I actually made a thread exactly like that a while back.

Wow, heads above what it was, I thought it looked like an old Angelfire website before.

    Something new!

    (Capt. Obvious strikes again!)

*Looking around, it appears to be similar to the American Wheat SN bottled in the past. Not a bad thing, nothing stupendous to grab the big geeks by the throat, but I imagine I'll have to give it a try at least once.

Something only available around Chico from what I understand.

I think it was at one point, but since it's in the year-round lineup at the web site I have the feeling it's going to see wider distribution.

Old Chico Crystal Wheat is only available in NorCal and we don't have any plans to change that at the moment. We do brew it year-round for this market, and since NorCal is still our biggest area (and our home) we thought we'd add it to the website because out here it is very popular.

We've been making this beer for years under the name Crystal Wheat, and we began bottling it in 2010 for the local market.

Not the same beer as our retired Unfiltered Wheat. This is a Crystal wheat beer, slightly hoppier and a good all-around drinker. We do it in 6-pack bottles and 12-pack cans for NorCal as well as draught.
