So my buddy just got new brew equipment so that we can brew All Grain, very pumped.

We wanted to do a single Hop IPA. I was leaning towards Amarillo as I've yet to use it in a brew and want to see what kinda flavors it brings for me. Was also considering Simcoe or Centennial.

Thinking Something along the lines of 6-7%, ~65 IBU, with a hefty serving of late boil hops and a week of dry hopping.

Any recipes or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You want a single hop IPA recipe from him? I don't think so - there are bittering hops and then there are flavor/aroma hops, silly.

I've got a pretty decent one.... Would hold up with a single hop easily. Nice sweetness, nice base. I enjoy it a fair bit and get compliments and requests for it. Nice and bready to hold up to tons of hops if you want.

Do a 60, 15, 5, 0 addition, figure out the IBU's to the way you like them. Use a simple 1056 or US05.

Mash for 60 @ 151*.. Should be in the neighborhood of 1.070-ish.. 1.072 or so.. Finish around 1.012/1.010 or so I guess..
