Iron springs in Fairfax, CA. Great little town and even better beer. I lived in SF for a few years and used to mt. bike in the area and this was always a place to enjoy the beers we earned after a long ride. Beer was legit!

Unsure of the population of Greencastle, ME, but I'm gonna give a shout out to Oxbow. What I've had of theirs is excellent.

The brewery is in Conestoga, PA, which has a population of about 1300. Granted they now have a bar/restaurant in Lancaster (about 60,000 people), they still brew in Conestoga.

They make some damn tasty beers too.

Troegs (Hershey - pop. ~ 14200) and Victory (Downingtown - pop. ~ 7900) are both in relatively small towns too, though I guess that depends on your definition of small.

Funny, I was wondering the size of those towns as I've had a good amount of Troeg's and Victory's over the years.

I've had Devil's Backbone, sorry, I didn't know they're from a small town too. I have had barely anything by Devil's Backbone to say anything in their favor. However, I will say that Morana's Dark Lager was good brew.

Very successful at the 2012 and 2013 GABF. 2012 they were voted Small Brewing Company of the year, and brought home 2 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze. In 2013 they were voted Small Brewing Company of the year, 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze. A nice bit of hardware for such a small brewery and to have only been around for such a short period. I've had their Eight Point IPA and their Kilt Flasher. Was definitely more impressed with the Kilt Flasher.

In Danville, Ky there is a brewery named LORE, that has some decent beer. My only beef with them is they are bottle production only. You can not go to the brewery and get beer. For whatever reason it makes me think less of them and don't really care to get their stuff anymore because of this.
