You're not dreaming. Our first ever Lager Fest is coming to Cyberspace on August 20 & 21! Everything is still in the works, but here's a sneak peek (art by Michael Hacker)...

Ticket sales and other info will be announced soon.

We're aiming for twelve. Waiting on confirmation on two others, but we might have one slot open if one of the brewers can't join us. Ideally, I'm looking for a brewer who can step up with a Bock or Rauchbier. Suggestions?

In the meantime, save the dates!

Have you spoken with Metropolitan in Chicago? Maybe Lakefront in Milwaukee? Both make decent Bocks.

Schell also makes great Bocks and brewed a Terrific Rauch a couple years ago.

    Almost forgot Bierkeller -- @herrburgess

    Wonderful. Sign us up.
Love to see a great lager house from the PNW such as pFriem or Zoigelhaus. Midwest there's Schell's. Dan Carey at New Glarus would be a prize but they don't distribute outside WI.

Lots of love for Fox Farm here already (and I wholeheartedly agree with the love), and I saw someone mentioned East Rock too (who I also love!). I’d like to add a plug for three more CT breweries who also do a great job with lagers - Counter Weight, OEC (they’re more than just sours!), & Nod Hill.

Suarez would be an amazing score, and I’d love to try something from Schilling too.

As for a brewer suggestion, Schell’s out of New Ulm, MN is the perfect fit for what you’re looking for IMHO, Todd.
