I'm going to PDX for 5 days in June (the week after the festival). What brews or breweries are a must visit?

In alphabetical order: Breakside, Cascade, Deschutes, Hair of the Dog, Upright for sure. Probables: Gigantic, Hopworks, Lompoc (especially Sidebar).

Also, do a search in this forum, there are a bunch of "visiting PDX" threads that should give you tons of good info. I'd say that most of us beer geeks out here are pretty much in agreement regarding which places are the "must visits."

I agree HotD and Cascade were my two favorites when I visited early this year. Check with HotD, because last time they had a special bottle sale when I went but I didn't learn about it til the day after!
