If a great beer is on tap I'll drink it all night. If not I'll mix it up.

almost never. They would have to somehow only have one beer that I cared to drink, and any respectable beer bar will always have multiple options of interest. I don't think I've ever had the same beer the entire night at a beer bar, ever.

I rarely drink more than one different beer in a bar. Same at beer festivals - I rarely drink more than a couple of different beers and drink full imperial pints if possible. If a festival has measures smaller than 10 cl I either won't bother going or take my own glass. Anyone who thinks they can make any sense out of a dozen different 10 cl measures is fooling themselves.

Typically, no, but it can happen.

I've had plenty of Event Horizon only nights.

Most recently a local place had 2010 expedition stout on draft, and it was so perfect, I couldn't bring myself to try anything else, and there was plenty others to choose from. I got stuck on Clutch at the same place a few months back.

Completely depends on my mood and the taplist. If nothing excites me and I have had the large majority of whats on tap I will find an old favorite and not feel obligated to branch out.

This. If there's something I won't be seeing on draft again for a long time, and I like it, I'll get my fill.

Nope. Jump around and usually try to find a bottle to have as well.

    Cheers!

No & yes. Typically it's No, I prefer flights when available, and then to try different styles. I also try to stick to draft only beers when possible. Exceptions of when I've had two or more of the same when on draft: Eclipse, Parabola, FW 14, Abyss, but I think many would get more then one of those too when the chance arises.

But remember, I am not Sam. I review and have reviewed many a beer. Untappd doesnt count.

I typically will switch it up with every beer. Sometimes I'll get a sample if there is something I want to try, but know I probably won't want a full pint or snifter.

variety is the spice of life. i love to mix it up when i'm drinking beer. the nice part is that not just pubs are getting in on carrying a variety, but there are so many stores around that have a "build your own sixer" option too. i don't think i'd enjoy beer half as much if i was stuck drinking just one type for any period of time.
