I'm salivating already. I'm going to see if the wife and I can make it up for this one. Cajun food and sour beers? Yep.

Paul Unwin runs an extremely good beer festival at the Cajun Cafe. I was there a few weeks ago for the Spring Craft Beer Festival and it was nothing but a positive experience. I can't wait to go back for the 1st Sour/Lambic fest, and would highly recommend the trip to anyone that could make it.

That is good to hear. I have never been to Cajun Cafe and I wasn't sure If they had experience running a beer fest. Should be a fantastic time. I will be there in full force with a pocket full of Tums.

Correct that tap list for Wakefield Brewing to

    Dragon fruit Passion fruit Berliner
    Miami Madness Berliner
Aint Yo Mommas Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Berliner
Also I might be bringing 1-2 of my project lambics to put on draft.

    Small update via their website:

    Dunedin Doggie-Rescue Fundraiser
Kenneth Koenig, KK, will be offering tastes of some very old Cantillons and other sours to raise money for Dunedin Doggie-Rescue. These old Vintage Sours and Lambics were left to KK by Joe Rayho on his passing in 2000. Joe was one of the original Tampa Bay Godfathers of Brewing.

Jay Rayho Memorial Vintage Tasting Booth -- 1 oz sample $3

There will also be a silent auction on a couple of the bottles.

The booth will feature pictures of Joe and his homebrew medals, etc.

KK will offer free tastes to anyone who can knew Joe and can produce a picture of themselves with him.
