Sour, Saison, & Funk: Hints and Hauls

Intriguing hint #2...according to FedEx the box arrived in Lewisberry, PA today but is still quite a ways away from it's destination per my liking to be arriving tomorrow, as it's supposed to...we'll have to see how the shipping magic goes...so if you're a slightly unreasonable distance from Lewisberry be on the lookout...maybe

 

Box is packed up and ready to go! Should go out tomorrow/Wed. at the latest. Contents cover a diversity of styles, including a couple wants and should be wants. To build off of earlier hints in the old thread, I attended university in the state where my box is headed. Amongst other things, the university is known for a unique academic building built in the Neo-Gothic style.

 

Dropped my box off at Fedex tonight, should ship tomorrow. As stated, the box contains 225oz. of qualifying funky/sour awesomeness. It's heading to a city on the west coast that has 8 public libraries...

 

My box is en route and will land thurs in a state where I had an epic time skiing.

 

There's a 31 lbs box heading west from Chicago, it's scheduled to arrive Friday.

 

My box also weigh's in at 31 pounds.

 

My box ships tomorrow, will contain at least 4 wants across 3 styles, and will not leave the Gulf of Mexico Watershed.

 

The box I sent out is traveling directly west of me.
Just under 200oz, 9 bottles, 3 are wants (1 of which does not fit the guidelines of the bif)

Bottle breakdown:
2 limited local distro/brewery only wild ales (both are wants)
1 brewery only barrel aged saison
1 Geuze
1 wild wheat ale
1 "normal" saison
1 brett'd saison
1 brewery only release that's wild (200 bottles made)
These last 2 brews dont fit the guidelines but I figured I was something worthy of being extras

I expect this box to land before the weekend. I'll provide an update when I have one.

 

Sorry guys, this fell off my radar for a bit with the site conversion and the ship date discussion. Got a box 90 percent ready and will ship this weekend.

A 12 Bottle Shipper landed on my porch today from Alexandria. Holy shit Mike, you crushed it. You put together an awesome box and did an even better job running this. I'm headed out now, but will post the full haul with pics later tonight. Cheers!

 

My box went out today, sorry for being a couple days behind. The name of the town its heading to is the first word of the title of my favorite Futurama episode. The episode takes place in a city with same name but in a different state.

 

Glad to hear it all arrived safe and sound and that you'll enjoy it...the Wild One was a very lucky find at Bell's on a recent trip that I saw and knew had to find it's way into this box...was sorry not to be able to meet more wants, but hopefully lots of sour and funky fun to be had, both old and new...cheers.

Any idea how to get the pictures to show? I used photobucket, and I could see them on the computer I used to post, but can't see them on my phone, or my work comp.

 

I missed the fedex on a a brew I was waiting for.............had to travel dam near to another state to go retrieve it! But alas...............it has been found and my box will be dropped off tomorrow on its way to the place where Walt Disney got his start...............NO it's not Florida
