    I just saw this on the shelf. Could this be fresh stuff, or do you think it's year-old? It's definitely new to this particular store.

    I think this is about the time that it comes out. Did you get to taste Jimmy's three year old bottle? It was great.

    I wouldn't be worried either way. (hopefully someone can get you a definitive answer)

    if it's new to the store, I bet it is the this year's release.

    I did. He said it was from 2008, and it was fantastic! It was because of this that I did not hesitate to grab six of them.

    Southern Tier is marked with bottled-on dates since last year. Shouldn't be hard to figure out.

    based on previous years, when I repped ST, Creme Brulee was a July release. I don't know if that has changed. But for real, if you see it, grab it. That beer ages beautifully.

    I have to tell you this was extremely hard to find on these bottles. I searched all of mine and finally found it on the last one. Still can't find it on one of them. It's much easier to find on the other ST beers I have.

    Just picked up a 2012 bottle. You think I should drink it super fresh or wait? I don't like hot beers/beers with a lot of alcohol flavor.

    I just saw a bunch at a local place myself, I hadn't seen it there in a long time so I assuming this is fresh. This is the time it came out last year too, so I'd guess you saw the 2012 version.
