I was thinking about making some non-traditional black and tans. I wanted to try old raspy and zombie dust. Would the layering work with raspy? Anyone try anything else cool?

I've been messing around with some beer blends. Don't limit yourself, try any combos you think may compliment each other! I did a LH Milk Stout Nitro and DFH 90 Minute IPA the other night and it was delicious.

Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree and Plead the 5th did not layer too well but was rather tasty. Chocolate Stouts and Pumpkin Ale are also an enjoyable combo IMO.
I am not a fan of Guinness, but an Irish Stout and Cider can also be enjoyable on occasion.

Southern Tier Choklat and NG Raspberry Tart is delicious. The heck with layering, just mix them.

We did 2008 Dark Lord with Pliny the Younger in 2010 and it was just ok. Dark Lord over powered the Younger and had to let it sit a bit to get any kind of separation. Some of the more out there combos may compliment each other, but I would much rather drink the beers by themselves.
