    A quick posting of the link to this vid about a fantastic recipe for mussels cooked in St. Bernardus Abt. 12.

    I would have used something munched lighter to cook mussels than abt 12 honestly.

    I keep meaning to try mussels with Orval, but the Orval always ends up in the glass rather than the pot.

    Had a steak sauce in Watou made with Abt 12. Was pretty damn awesome.

    That's a very known recept here in Belgium.

    An half year a go we had our "national steak sauce day", it was organised by one of Belgium's most popular tv-cooks (Jeroen Meus)

    This cook was using the abt 12 too, more than 10000 bottles of Abt 12 have been used that day.. My butcher sold that day 14x as much steak as usual :slight_smile:

    That sounds like one of the greatest days ever. I can't remember if our steaks were at 't Hommelhof or De Paterstafel

    Wit beer is my go to w mussels....lots of celery, parsley, garlic and of course crusty bread to sop up all those tasty juices
