Hey I have a co-worker headed to Stockholm soon and was wondering where I could send him to pick up a couple bottles. I would like him to get some better Swedish stuff or any Mikkeller and if possible Cantillon/3F. I would also like to send him to no more than 3-4 stores and keep it as easy as possible for him. If anybody has any advice it would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Sweden has a state owned alcohol monopoly (Systembolaget). Beer releases work in a way that means that new beers get released in the beginning of every month. The new releases run out very fast (not unusual that it takes less than a day), and those are also the more special beers. These releases only get to a few shops throughout the country, but it's really no problem in Stockholm. On top of that there is a more or less standard selection at the stores and depending on where the store is located and how many shop there this selection ranges from small to big, but again, not a problem in Stockholm.

These are the bottles that will be released in 9/1 (with article number, name of beer, country, bottle size in ml, price in SEK and number of bottles that will get released):

However, today a rumor came that said that 3F Armand/Tommy also would get released in september. How many bottles or what price is unknown for now, but it won't be cheap and there won't be many bottles. They will most probably be gone after a few hours if not less.

Systembolaget Passagen in Stockholm (Regeringsgatan 44, 111 56 Stockholm) would be your best bet, however, this one will probably be most crowded too. Most other beers can be bought at most central Systembolaget in Stockholm too.

The only lambic that is available in the standard selection is Oud Beersel Geuze 375ml.

No problems. Should also note that stuff from overseas are at least one month old by the time they get released at Systembolaget. Usually it is well above that, for example, we usually get the new release of Bigfoot in the summer, and it's not unusual that we see two or three month old american IPAs getting released. So be aware. The Swedish stuff and most European stuff, however, is often fine.

He will be there on the 3rd so hopefully he can still find the Chimay and Sunturnbrew when he gets there. I also heard Hello My Name Is Ingrid will be released on Spet. 1 that I would love to get a hold of.

The Chimay and Sunturn could very much be available when he gets there. But where did you hear about Hello, My Name Is Ingrid? There has been no rumors whatsoever about this beer being released again in the Swedish blogosphere, and given the massive popularity of it and given how quickly it sold out last time, if there would be a rumor I probably would have heard about it.
