I know that Stone has the reputation of putting out big IPA/IIPA's for their Anniversary brews but does anyone know what this years is gonna be?

I didn't look really hard for a similar thread so if I duplicated an already existing one, point me that way.

    Cheers!!

My T-shirt says "something hoppy," but I predict a beet and rye bread kvass.

Ruination 10th and Enjoy By are fantastic but can they do a stout this time? 16th Anniversary was not so good

I wouldn't mind if they did that.

That beer is on my profile as a top want. I would love to try one fresh (you know what I mean)

My vote would be for something good and gimmick-free.

Unless a rebrew of 10th Anniversary is considered a gimmick...

With Enjoy By going strong and Ruination 10th coming out again, I do wonder if they'll switch it up a bit from the usual IPA. Espresso IRS is going to be fairly big I think, and in some older Anniversary Ales Stone would go back to the archives for some inspiration. I'd love to see them revisit Stonewall.

What about a saison? I know they brewed a small batch saison earlier this year.

How about reincarnation/rebrew of 13th anniversary, which has been my favorite to date

That was the Tiger Cub that they released. It was decent, but by no means a major competitor among the regularly available saisons out there, IMHO.

I heard they were doing a wildfire-inspired Burnt Chaparral Porter, sweetened by Bigberry Manzanita fruit with a hint of eucalyptus oil.

Correct. I wasn't too impressed by it when I tried it at the bistro, but the fact they did release the small batch possibly for feedback has been lingering in my head for a while now. A hoppy saison really wouldn't be a huge shock.

They had bottles available for on-site consumption at the Bistro on a random Sunday just a few weeks ago, which surprised me greatly (it had been one of my top wants as well). I never tried it fresh but it's aging rather deliciously.
