ESCONDIDO, CA (March 4, 2014) – When browsing through local bottle shops or grocery store aisles, craft beer enthusiasts face a fortunate predicament: “Which beer should I purchase?” With so many options available, it’s often difficult to choose just one beer to bring home and enjoy. To aid in overcoming this somewhat agreeable dilemma,Stone Brewing Co. is offering a multifarious option with the latest iteration of its Stone Mixed 12 Pack. Beginning today, fans in select markets nationwide can purchase a pack of twelve 12-ounce beers featuring Stone IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA and Arrogant Bastard Ale.

This is the first time these four beers have been included in one case box, but that’s not the only historically significant aspect of the pack. For the first time ever, Arrogant Bastard Ale will be sold in 12-ounce bottles, as opposed to the 22-ounce bottles that have housed this belligerently bold American strong ale for the past 16 years. Although it’s tough to imagine this much liquid arrogance fitting inside a more diminutive bottle, the craft beer company has made it a reality via the Stone Mixed 12 Pack.

“We’re thrilled to be releasing the Stone Mixed 12 Pack to our fans nationwide,” said Vice President of Sales Todd Karnig. “We released a variation of the mixed pack in California late last year. It was enormously popular and we received positive feedback from our loyal fans and retailers. This 12 pack is perfect for the craft beer fan who wants to enjoy something special, but can’t decide on just one of our many delicious beers.”

Whether it’s a long-time favorite or a beer that hasn’t been tried before, the Stone Mixed 12 Pack offers what beer enthusiasts love: choice. It’s also a great option when faced with entertaining guests with varying palates and preferences.

Moving forward, Stone will continue shuffling the selection of beers included in the Stone Mixed 12 Pack, and fans are advised to stay tuned for future editions.

I saw this or one like it last week but $25 was too much for me to pull the trigger.

Just showed up in Mass this week. $22.99. Not bad for all fresh Stone IPAs.

For reference Stone IPA is usually $12ish- Ruiniation is $11 for 4 same with SSR and its a cheaper AB which are $5 or $6 22s. Plus most ABs don't have dates, so they could have been around for a while.

As a general Stone fan, I will be buying one.

I like this pack and I hope going forward there is a bit more variety. I mean can't we leave out one of the IPA's for Chipotle or Vanilla porter?

This sounds great. I hope I can find it in my area. Just found out Great Lakes will be expanding into North East PA. Things are starting to look good.

I just bought this 12 pack today. $20.99 at Wegmans. Not a bad price for 4 Stone beers ranging from 7-9 % abv. Now I have 4 reviews I'll be posting.

Has anyone come across this edition in NE Ohio? I've only seen the previous version available in the few places that still have it stocked.

Just so your aware because I came across this in CT as well where the old selection is still around but the best by date was still out a couple months so they are either still making both mixed packs or made them one week after the other. But either way, just because its the old pack doesn't mean its not fresh.

*yawn* I mean I'll get it but it's virtually the same as the last one just not Oaked aba an ssr instead of levitation. I just had 2 of the bomber boxes also so I just want something more impressive from stone not just repackaged stuff that said 6 packs of aba count me in

Just great. More overpriced, mostly bitter and mostly old/stale beers from Stone to take up more space on our east coast shelves. I'll pass.

Only beer I've had from them that I thought was worth the cost and hype was their RIS. That was darn good.

I passed on the pack with Levitation, but if I see these with SSR (my favorite black IPA) I'll likely pick one up!
