It was on at Palate in Milford MI last night, so I tried a mug. Over the top hoppy, unbalanced, and there was one flavor coming through that was hard to place, but unpleasant to me. Was from Nelson Sauvin, or from Summit?

Followed it up with a Two Hearted.

So much has landed in Michigan this week, much more than we've received before. It's even here locally - South Lyon - in large quantity, which has always been shut out. Was even offered a case by my guy at cost!

Bump for Michigan. If you're looking for it, try anywhere in the middle of the mitten. Have seen multiple cases of it in grocery stores.

Enjoy By 02/14/14 has landed in Central / SE Virginia. Between a couple different bottle shops, prices ranging $7.99 - $9.26. Picked up two for the lower price and will give a taste this weekend. More to be had if warranted.

Seems like there is a lot of variability in this beer. Some folks getting a lot of onion/garlic, others not--some even getting it in one bottle, and not at all in a second. I know Stone has said the recipe stays the same, but of four batches I've had, there has been at lot of variation. Seems to me the hop bill changes around, or the hops used are not holding up well in the cooler. On this last batch, I'm getting very little hop complexity. Mostly a subdued floral fruity note. No pine, no dank, no onion, no earth. I'm hoping this single bottle was an anomaly, but it was a ghost of the Enjoy By I was hoping for. Not bad, at all, just boring.

Drinking it right now. One of the better Drink By batches. However, it's draft not bottled so this may not apply. Great nose, right amount of hops, and a good balance.

Got a 32 oz. growler of it last night. Delicious as usual. I guess I'm lucky in that my palate has never registered onion and garlic from the beers like this one, devil dancer, Gubna, etc. I love garlic and onion in my food, just not in my beer.

I bought a few bottles at the Wegman's in Fredericksburg, VA a little bit ago for 6.99 a bottle. There were 5-6 bottles left on the shelf.

I've now "Enjoyed" the last 5 batches that made it to NJ and this one was by far the least "Enjoyed." LOL
I wont be going out of my way in the future to obtain these.
