Stone Enjoy By 07.04.13 IPA

LOL. Yeah it's one of the best DIPA's in the world. Stone hit a home run with that one. Nice to see that you enjoyed it.

 

And here I was wondering if the hype was wearing off... Don't get my wrong, it is amazing, but from what I've seen it looks like most people treat it as a one-time whale

 

You should try some RuinTen. Even better.

 

As long as it's 6.99$ a bottle, I'll buy every one I see. Not Pliny/Heady level. More like Sucks/Double Trouble level.

 

So damn good. Hoping NC gets it again the next go around, no offense to any markets that haven't gotten it yet.

I think its better then pliney totlay diffrent a lot more like sucks but byfar the best dipa I have had so far

I sometimes like Pliny more, sometimes Enjoy By. Just depends.

 

honestly i give stone tons of credit for releasing very solid dipa's that have pretty wide distribution, i'd love to see enjoy by brewed year round

 

So why hasn't their "pretty wide distribution" brought a single round of Enjoy By to Michigan yet?

2 weeks ago I headed over to TW Arden for Enjoy and RuinTen.I had to ask.Ruin Ten was a limit of 1 but no limit on Enjoy.I got 2.Them went to Bevmo Arden.The had a limit of 2 on Enjoy and still "had to order" Ruin Ten.

I had the Enjoy by but started with something a little weaker first.I wasn't blown away.Just OK.And I had tried 4-20 on tap on 3-23 which I felt was fabulous so I just don't know.Later in the week I had the RuinTen and again it was fine but just didn't blow me away.And I'm a HUGE fan of Stone.I had the last 2 Enjoy by last weekend and again they were very good not great.

Lately nothing is really wowing me.I don't know if my palate is shot or what.I just can't explain it.

 

The last batch was pretty good, and I agree with the comparisons to Double Trouble and Sucks. I'll definitely be picking some up when it shows up around here.

 

Got three bombers here in Bryan, TX ... it doesn't seem as good as 4.1.13, but that could be circumstance. When I tried the 4.1.13, I hadn't had anything like Enjoy By, so it blew my mind. Now that I know what to expect, it's possible expectations are outweighing reality.

It's still awfully good. Definitely worth getting a bomber or two each time it comes around ...

 

They had some in stock at the Ballard Central Market as of a couple days ago. They're going slow at 8.99 a bottle.

 

I've still got 10 left, last call for a quick trade before they reach their date!

 

I know that the local wob had it on tap last weekend. Hope I didn't miss it.

 

I'm gonna drink my last bottle on 07.05.13.

 

don't you know they self destruct on the best by date?
