Seriously? That's the appeal of this IPA for me.

420 was really good. I will definitely have to get one of these to drink on the fourth. 'Merica!

Part of me wishes though that they would change up the color scheme on the label just this once. Make it Red White and Blue.

Exactly. Most DIPA's from the west coast don't make it to Alabama fresh at all, but Enjoy By is always really good when it gets here.

To easy...that's what we call a softball in the biz

and yes...I love hoppy beers, probably my favorite style next to DIPAs...there is an off flavor that I don't find appealing...maybe...dank...

Yeah maybe. I hear a lot of people say they get onion, I'm not one of them either. Everyone is different.

I get a lot of garlic with Enjoy By -- but I've come to expect it, so I'm a fan.

When I get that on a one-off can and I haven't before, then I'm a bit confused (especially when the rest of the 4-pack doesn't have that garlic tone at all).

No. The following passage is from the Stone blog when they first introduced Enjoy By back in Fall 2012:

"Hops bill: Calypso during the mash; Super Galena hop extract for bittering; Simcoe, Delta, Target, and Amarillo for flavor; Motueka, Citra, and Cascade for aroma; Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy for dry hopping"

    http://blog.stonebrew.com/index.php/stone-enjoy-by-ipa/

The hops bill--and every other part of this beer's recipe--is the same for every batch. It is the same beer. A very, very good beer, but the same beer each time it comes out.

Well, that depends on how you mean. Stone gave the hops bill on their blog post (see above) when they first introduced Enjoy By back in Fall 2012, so yes, the hops bill has always been known. But no, they don't re-list it for every release of Enjoy By. Case in point, if you go to the Stone website page for 7.04.14, there is no mention of the hops bill. I imagine BeerPulse just pulled the list of hops from the original post.

Does seem like an overly complicated over kill, but the results work.

I'm under the impression that the recipe is exactly the same batch to batch. Enjoy by is Enjoy by

Why keep trying it? You know what you like. I think it tastes great. To each his own.

10 bucks for a 22 is a lot of money to pay for something that in all likelihood will provide a similar displeasurable experience as last time you tried. What's the definition of insanity...?
