For those in Charleston, the Folly Rd/Maybank Piggly Wiggly had the bottles I mentioned earlier ($9.99) and had it on tap for growler pours (64 oz.) for $20.99.

Surprisingly, I picked up one($8) at Friar Tuck on Watson. Along with 3x12 cans of SNPA. Probably should've grabbed another of the Woot though. May go back tomorrow.

He's a lucky man in more ways than one. He's come a long way from when some Star Trek fans dissed him as Wesley Crusher - out of jealousy IMHO. Now they've got something really to be jealous of - way to go Wil - keep geeking out!

Had a bottle tonight. There were a dozen on the shelf when I went into my store yesterday, today one. I grabbed it.

Good. Very good. Not life changing but a sweet Imperial Stout deviated enough from the usual Stone profile to be notable and something I'd like to see made more often. Everything else being equal I'd buy this over their RIS.

Super stoked to be getting this in a trade soon! Sounds delicious, and the reviews have been pretty excellent thus far. Anyone have any advice on whether I should age it for a bit, or just go for gold and crack that sucker?

For those in the GR area, you'll need to do a bit of traveling to find this. Had a bottle shop (Bellavino's) confirm with the distributor that Kent County isn't getting any of this.

!@@$!! Was within a block of BSF today and forgot to stop there... walked in the opposite direction all the way to Kenmore. The two stores on the same side of Beacon never heard of it... Not kidding.

Pardon me for asking, but where in Pennsylvania are you and why are you trading for it? Have you heard anything about distro to PA? It shows PA in the initial post, but I tweeted a store in Pittsburgh yesterday and they said they're not sure about it because they thought they'd get Dayman and didn't.

I'm sorry, but in the biggest sense of the word, Ohio beer laws suck!

I would recommend aging it. Cracked one last night, it was good but the alcohol was pretty strong. I imagine in time the flavors will round out nicely.

I paid roughly $8 for my two bottles a piece.

Haven't cracked them yet.. I hear it's hot as hell, so I might hold off a while.

That's good to hear, I think I'll age it for 6 months to a year. I was just looking for some direct feedback because a couple people mentioned in reviews how the alcohol was really well masked, but 1 or 2 other reviews said it was a bit hot. Guess I'll either be cracking the Beauregard or the Otiose from that box then... Can't age em all!

Well I actually was just initially trading for a bottle each of Bruery Beauregard and Otiose, but dudes mentioned he had some Woot and it was only like $9, so I figured what the hell, why go chase it when I can have it shipped to my doorstep as long as I'm doing a trade anyway? I'm in the Philly area, and it probably wouldn't be too hard to find it in the city, but city bottle shops are expensive, and if Wegmans did get it (who charge reasonable prices) I must have missed it. You might be able to find it in Pittsburgh but I wouldn't know where, it's a 4 hour drive for me.

Cool, thanks. Agreed with your reasoning; why bother chasing it when you can get it on your doorstep. (Maybe that'll be the best thing for me to do also.)

I'll keep trying to tweet, call, whatever, to see if anyone in PA gets it because I don't want to drive 90 minutes for nothing, but this just further exemplifies all that's wrong with OH's beer laws.

Damn! If only I would have known. There were 4 of them for like $6.89 a piece. Figured we'd see them here so passed up on it and bought a 2008 Night Tripper instead.

Picked up 2 at the store yesterday where I saw some on Friday. There were about 6 still on the shelves. Think I'll let these mellow for a while before breaking into them.
