I love this beer I've drank two cases of it so far and I'll be purchasing more.

Pretty solid, but not nearly as good as All Day IPA IMO.

Astonishingly, I think a lot of people miss the point of session beers. Of course it's not as flavorful as a f'n Enjoy By.

I think it (and every other Session IPA I've had) tastes closer to hoppy soda water than beer.
I think that the US craft scene desperately needs to look to the British, Germans, Czechs, etc. for inspiration. The idea that something under 5% has to be watery and vegetal is ludicrous, but that seems to be what's going on. Flavors range from gluten-free, to hop tea, to a watered down APA…at best. When you completely remove the malt element from a beer it just takes the heart and soul of it. No amount of citra, Centennial, CTZ, or yet-to-be-named hop variety can fix that. Hell, the 5.0ABV Hazed and Infused is hoppier (and maltier) than any I’ve had. No thanks.

I don't drink a lot of session IPAs, but after trying the offerings from Stone, Boulevard, Sierra Nevada and Founders, I like this Stone one the best. FWIW, I thought the SN was quite poor.

the cheapest i've found it in queens or long island is $12.99 a six, and there's only a handful of places that carry it.

i figured i would try to buy a few cases in Pennsylvania, but apparently none of the distributors can get cases for some reason.

definitely a great ipa tho. i still prefer dipa's like Dirtwolf and Heady Topper, but Go To is right up there with the best.

Amazing aroma but there's no body, very little of the aroma translates to the taste, and it's so carbonated that it's hard to actually session.

All Day still wins here. Go To is Hoppy Soda.

I don't understand why this name is a "dick move". Explain?

I've tried a few session ipa's and I just dont think theyre for me, like some other posters in this thread. Mostly I find them to be almost bitter water just for the sake of being bitter. Nooner was light but too bitter and I didn't get a lot of hop flavor other than bitter. Havent had day time or founders but I liked go to better, but still, I'd rather drink an enjoy by.

Sounds like a no brainer but I know what your dealing with cost versus abv. The main advantage is when your cooking out(that's one scenario) you want something tasty but not a big buzz while your timing everything

Just had founders (both All Day and Centennial) for the first time. Go to by Stone is for sure better than Founders session (All Day).

Had it on tap at the Stone tasting room. I was pretty impressed. I still like the Port S.I.P.A. better, and the price is better, but Go To has legit flavor for the ABV.

Thanks for the advice, ive had the centennial ipa and Stones ipa. Daytime always satisfies me but I wanted to branch out a little. Next purchase Go To if I can find it tried last night with no success.

I will definitely try it. I've never had anything from Stone that wasn't great, but 12.99, or 11.99 is not a sessionable price for me. Even 9.99 is pushing it. $15 for a 12 pack is a session price, and when you have New Glarus on every corner you can do that with world class beer.

It's selling for $11.50 a 6-pack near me but I will try a single sometime instead, as session IPAs rarely hit the mark for me...I'll definitely keep an open mind, though, and who knows (however at this price point, there are many other beers I can pick up for the same price or much cheaper of course).

I've been picking it up for 40$ a case from my local beer store but he gives me a deal when I buy by the case. Everywhere else I paid 11.99 a 6 pack.

If you have access to founders the all day ipa is way better imo. Plus it's 11.99 for a 6 pack when all day is 17.99 for a 15 pack.
