Stout BIF Round 4 Hints & Hauls

Well, I must certainly say I was caught off guard and not quite prepared for the last epic display of prOn. NOW I'm ready for more!!

I live in MI & would be ecstatic with that box!
Solstice Stout is soooo good & I haven't even heard of MMMM and I live 40min from Dark Horse
Oh and the Black Note 750 is one of, if not, the best BA stout that I've ever had; I loved it a lot more than the 2014

So, my target @jawas decided to toss a box of wants back my way because he felt bad for me about the whole shipping fiasco. This is before the remaining boxes even made it to him. Awesome gesture from an awesome BA



Kane Overhead (growler) - This was a want and will definitely be knocked out this weekend.
Kane Morning Bell - Also a want, sounds awesome
Clown Shoes Garden State Rhapsody - Should have been a want because I have loved all of the stouts I've had from Clown Shows, the fact that this is an NJ exclusive one has me even more excited.

Tonight I had to do some packing for a trip next week but also had to do some unpacking from a trade box that I received from @HoppySeb ****WARNING**** do NOT trade with this man unless you are ok with being embarrassed by the generosity!
I had to start by cracking the old standard Yeti courtesy of @luwak which is brand new to me


...and I'm glad I had something to quench my thirst while unpacking this beast of a trade:

This is why I love BIF's, the participants in here are some of the most generous on BA.
Seb even noticed that the Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti odidn't get included in my BIF box & stepped up.
I totally missed High Westified (came & went in a day in SW MI) and there it is. I love Mogli & get to try great beers from Laurelwood & Crux. I also get my first taste of Fremont including the whole wax family.

Yeah, definitely not what I had before at a bottle share. And fml, caffeine buzz is winning over alcohol buzz eight now. Bout to be a long night

 

This is making me glad I had procrastinated on investing in a bottle. I'm sorry to hear it though, it was pretty highly anticipated by a lot of people including myself.

 

Smart move - I loved Oh Fudge. I got Silva for the tick, but hoping it's not that bad.

 

No worries, the reviews are all over the place, might just let this one sit a bit. Ill be posting your box later this afternoon, wife got a flat tire so off to sit in a waiting room for God know how long. Also, I hope the overhead didn't get ruined in the transport, Ive only shipped 1-2 growlers, and Im always so worried about the quality control on them after they arrive.

 

Wait until Fall (October I believe) and a new batch will be available. BA Old Ruffian and BA Hibernation batches are out now.

So glad you liked it dude! Saw the Lagunitas and Choco Yeti on your wants and was glad I could hit 'em.

Also, I'd posted before in the Locals I was all out of Fremont stouts - that's still the case. Jeff and I had squared this trade off in ummm, November? December? It just took us quite a while to actually ship. Those who know me know I don't hold beer hostage. I'm sure i'll get more of these in the fall and will be glad to hook folks up!

Folks who may be looking for Cinnamon Coffee Bomb or B-Bomb, hit me up. I still have a couple of those.
