Use imgur. It gives you embed codes and other links to use

Received first box today. I had not a clue I had won this as I went to bed at 10:15 as i just couldnt take it anymore and 5 am comes early. I woke up at 3 and saw the ravens had won and said what the hell let me check my numbers. Whoa!!!! I had to redo the math in the morning as I still was not sure I had won. Not much of a football fan. More of a beer fan. Just glad we have a hockey season in place now!!! Anyway, thanks to all and to Ruddick for setting this up!!!

The url you paste into the image insert dialog should end in jpg or gif... If it doesn't, you don't have the right kind of link. Right click on the image. Depending on the type of browser you use, you'll either have the option to copy image link or view properties. If you view properties, you'll see the image URL there, and can copy it. You can usually also open the image by itself in a new tab, at which point the image URL is obtained in your browser address bar.

I wish it were so straightforward on Firefox on a Mac....I got into the image properties no problem, but there was no easy way to just copy the link. Oh well, Imgur was a quick and easy solution for this since it provides the links. Now my lack of image posting abilities will forever be recorded in this thread.

 

In the future, load Safari... right click on the photo and select "Copy Image Address"
