Surly availability in Duluth

    Heading up to northern MN on 9/1 (Squaw Lake, MN to be exact), and will be stopping in Duluth for lunch / drinks at Fitgers (have greatly enjoyed the beers at festivals and events, but never been to the brewery itself). Really hopping to grab some Surly cans for the week of fishing, but most of the data on the places section of BA seems outdated and could only find this thread by searching.

    Aside from WolfKeeper's suggestion of Pike Lake Liquors in a thread on the Great Lakes forum, any other locations that are guaranteed to have a selection of Surly beers available? Looks like lots of options based on Surly's beer finder, but no clue how up to date / accurate that is either. Closer to Fitgers the better, but willing to drive a fair bit to ensure I get my fix for the week.

    Once upon a time there was plentiful Surly in Duluth and the entire north shore region. But not anymore.

    My recommendation: enjoy the hell out of Fitger's because they brew some fantastic beers that are right on par with Surly.

    There is a liquor store right next to Fitgers if I remember. They had it when I stopped by a while ago.

    I forget the name but there is a small liquor store up there that had Surly as well, had a great selection of craft stuff, I got 3 bottles of Abyss there in May.

    Warehouse Liquors is the one I went to. Awesome slection. Go there.

    If you stop at Warehouse also do some date checking if you're concerned about freshness. Lots of dusty bottles and hidden gems.

    In AZ now but last time I was there I remember seeing surly everywhere, best prices are either Cashwise on miller trunk hwy or Pike Liquors a bit further down the road.
