Surprised no reviews of the new Paulaner Brauhaus in NYC. Anyone been? Thoughts?

I had considered making the trip in a few months before a match at Red Bull Arena.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the mention, Jack. I'd definitely head to Zum Schneider, both for the beer as well as the food. The thing that gave me a sense of unease about Paulaner was that they don't seem to be making any efforts to duplicate the genuine German article; even though not all of the reports about the beer were bad, nobody seemed to love it either. It also looked like they were taking shortcuts. The new reports seem to say that the beer and brewer are the only thing staying the same (with one new addition), so that's not a good sign.

At Zum Schneider the beer will be fantastic, and you will have plenty of choices. No brainer.

I love Brauhaus Schmitz. One of my favorite places in Center City Philly. Looks like Zum Schneider will be where we will go the day of the match.

    Zum wohl!
