I'm starting my LIF now, but bad news for you guys, I'm opening this one up to all of BA so it will be on the main forum tomorrow. At least you guys will know about it first.

Everyone knows I'm a sarcastic ************* all the time, but this shit in the Middle East with ISIS decapitating innocent babies is taking a toll on my psyche. I'm unloading anything good in my cellar and a few other close friends have lent some bottles as well and I'm raffling it all off, a la @RayOhioFelton 's Cystic Fibrosis LIF. If any of you aren't up to speed with what's happening over there, this is basically the holocaust but on a much more savage scale, even if the death toll isn't there yet. I'm helping fund an aid group of contractors and ex military to physically go over there and literally save people's lives. They're working in conjunction with a close friend of mine who spends his entire life in third world countries providing aid relief to those less fortunate and he's helping organize this effort. I'll keep you all posted. I don't care if you're Christian or Muslim or Hindu or Atheist, I'm pretty sure you're not a barbarian so keep those people in your thoughts please.

Yea I would be fine with scaling it back a bit, how about 100oz? Boxes obviously won't be going out until January so we have some time to prep for them.

So looks like Furguson Missouri has a time machine and took it to 1959...when are we going to stand up and shut down the machine?!?! We go to work, 30% of our pay goes to the government so they can do who the fuck know with it, 30% goes to the bank so we can buy shit we don't need at prices that are inflated to keep us in the rat race and what we do earn is a small fraction of what we make our corporate bosses! My CEO made over 4 million dollars last year....in one fucking year!!!! I busted my dick and made under $40,000...how does that make sense?

I used to make a little over 40k, went back to school to better myself and ended up unemployed for 3 of the last 6 years and making less than 30k now. Only temp work in the last 6 years, fear of being laid off every day, no benefits, no paid time off or holidays.

I do have beer though...

 

Ha thought this was gonna be a 'work harder earn more speech" at first...haha...dude, it is what it is...middle class gonna be middle class...but I have a great job (RN) that I enjoy, just the guy running the hospitals gets 4 million while I ran an urban ER with less than half the staff necessary all weekend...no one died so that's good I guess...probably took care of over 50 people in two days...I don't even remember what happened. It is over whelming and effects my home life...hopefully the hard work puts my kids in a better spot where they can make money off of their creativity and not have to count on others for employment like their old man.

Also what ISIS is doing is making me sick too. Nice LIF man!
