This is my favourite of the Central Waters Brewer's Reserve series that I've had (better than the Bourbon Barrel Stout and the Bourbon Barrel Scotch Ale, in my opinion).

 

I've had the BBA stout and I agree with steve, this one is better. BBA barleywine as a whole ages better than stouts, IMO.

Of course, I'm nonpartisan when it comes to the tits. But seriously, the only oversized snifter I have is the CBS one and I've been dying for more, so much easier to get your swirl on. I have oversized wine glasses (Tired Hands, Rockmill, etc,) but the stubby stem seems so much more gentlemanly. It was fortuitous.

 

Quick update. Box goes out tommorow versus today. Will arrive before Friday, so the target will have weekend beers.

Hint: the football team from your state won a game this weekend that no one preseason would have guessed would happen .

 

Ok so shit...made a mistake reading the instructions and picked a target requesting an after Oct 30th ship. So to my old target, sorry bro. To my new target: I hope you like beer.
