    Very excited for this.

I find it weird that founders wants to brew what they want and not what the customer wants. Looks like blushing monk and cbs won't get done again while Disenter of whatever it is called is rotting on shelves. Bourbon County is remaking vanilla, or a form of it, why not work with the consumer and not against them?

WOW... I had a rally shitty day at work today and worked a lot linger than I was planning to but what I came home to tonight on the porch was more than enough to make me smile... Then a text from someone whom I honestly didn't think was gonna send anything asked me if I wanted a growler of Mexican cake or Sexual Chocolate for the last spot in the shipper???? Say what!!! I chose Mexican cake  then when I thought it couldn't get much better u received a text from one of the brewers at CCB with a tracking number :grinning: I have a pretty good idea of at least a few of what is in there which hopefully will include a Cali brandy Huna to complete the full Huna vertical, brandy Leon, and a couple lacto apricots but he always surprises me with some crazy stuff. Then I got a tracking number for an hommage trade that @blue-dream helped me work out because he is the man... And when I was leaving work a friend dropped me off an Avery Antonius' Carmen for the home run. Tomorrow I have one last mystery box coming from an old RP so I'm debating on whether I wait to post Pron pics of today's haul till then and group it all together... Also for all you side project/perennial fans like me, this Saturday if you didn't see is supposed to be the biggest bottle release they have ever done! Another wonderful text received today...

Hey @blue-dream and @FATC1TY can we make a rule that no one makes a drain pour thread ever again? Such ignorance in those threads. One guy once posted he drain poured a zombie dust and they said he didn't like IPAs...well if you don't like hops don't buy those types of beers. Sorry but those posts just draw ire.

So I heard from a founders rep that this was essentially a blend of breakfast stout and rubaeus? Any one else hear anything like this? Either way, I'll be getting some of anybody wants to try it  right up my alley as well...

Tonight was a pretty tough night: I had to make the call to put my 18-year-old miniature Dachshund, Chris, to sleep. He has had a deteriorating quality of life for a couple years, but I was hoping he'd pull through until tomorrow so that I'd be able to see him again when I drive home for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, he had either an abscess or tumor in his lower GI tract, and in his state the process of diagnosis and subsequent treatment for either would have been too traumatizing and would have likely not restored his quality of life to anything respectable. So I have had to say goodbye to a great friend of 16 years, and, while it sucks, I know it's what had to happen, despite not being able to be there. It just sort of sucks right now.

    Cheers, Chris.

Thanks to @Lehighace06 for the only beer in my fridge that had a dog anywhere on it. I'm pouring a little bit out for our lost friends.

Pet your dogs for me tonight.

i am beyond sorry my friend, I know how hard that is and I wish you the best and give you my deepest sympathy. I have my little dachshund buddy and he means the world to me. I hope you are able to be with some friends at least tonight.

Thanks. I was out at a Magic: the Gathering tournament (yes, I am that nerdy) tonight when all of this happened and I managed to keep it together fairly well, although I did have to take multiple calls regarding this as the tournament started. Unfortunately, I had to take a call to talk to my dog and give my mother the okay to put him to sleep as I sat down for my first match of the evening. It helped keep my mind off of things, but now that I'm at home it's a bit tougher. A significant bright spot through all of this, however, is that my opponent, whom I didn't know prior to tonight, left behind a very kind note and very nice pack of cards for me at the cash register that I only found out about when I went to claim my prizes after splitting the finals of my tournament. I have to track that guy down and make sure his very nice deed is repaid. From a community where its members are generally not known for their generosity or empathy, it really brightened my evening. So a huge thanks to that guy.

@jdhowe so sorry to hear about your little loved one. I hate when people say "it's just a dog". No, no it's not. They become apart of your family and loved no less.
