    You are going to have to wait a bit longer. Surly tweeted the announcement saying it was coming out this week and some asked about Chicago. They said just MN for right now, that they will provide an update for Chicago soon.

    This beer got a lot of hype at one of the beer festivals. Its supposed to taste like coffee with cream and 2 sugars. I've heard a lot of good things about it.

    I'll see what I can do about getting a can or two out to you so you can decide for yourself.

    I have no life. I check BA 50x a day....untappd 4 or 5 if I'm not drinking, more if I am....twitter all day....someone take my phone from me for one week!

    And from the rumblings in the Midwest forum, it seems like there may be an issue with the canning line as some people have been finding their Abrasive is completely flat. I think it's worth waiting a week or two for both the hype to die down and for Surly to figure out if there's actually a problem with their cans.

    Which is lame. Seems like just a random thing, no way to predict which cans are issues or not. Could just be a weird canning line issue that affects one in every whatever number maybe. Sucks not to know.

    So I found out yesterday during my training session, that I might be out of a job come September, IF not sooner :slight_frown:. As some of you know I worked for a pretty much "known" corporation that recently sold off their Enterprise portion of the company to a up and coming European Technology Company. Our main account is US Postal Service, but since we lost that contract there's no word if i'll be absorb into another IT dept or kicked to the curb while holding a sign saying "Will work for OTPHJ's and/or @Houser comments!"

    I'm trying to keep my head up, positive and have faith that it won't be the latter of the two senarios. It seems like that whole working at one place for 15-20 yrs is a thing of the past. Honestly, I'm a rambler and I'm gonna keep on ramblin'

    Sorry, just needed to vent boys! Hope everyone has a great day :slight_smile:

    That's a bummer man, best of luck with it! I'm in sales, but because of my nerdy personality I probably have more friends in the IT department than my own; my company got acquired last year, while so far the parent company has left our IT department alone to do their thing, I know it's really only a matter of time before they eliminate a few positions...
