What can I say? I had to pull some strings in Chicago today to get this done. They had to call in a specialist to approve the label on short notice. I think they paid him with a pack of hot dogs (no buns). But the label was approved and the 1 bottle batch was completed. That's how I roll. Always looking out for my friends. The back of the bottle is labeled 1/1.

 

have them whip up a quick batch of bcbvs for me real quick. thanks.

Wegmans

 

damn i stopped in a wegmans in Collegeville and they had nothing.

 

Wegmans in Malvern is where I got all of mine (no limit on regular and they didn't even have the other two in the system yet shhhh); Downingtown had BCBS, BCBCS, and BCBBW but sold out before noon, and KOP was selling regular today and planning on selling Coffee and Barleywine starting tomorrow morning at 7:00 am.

 

damn. went to my wegmans this morning, they only have regular, limit of two 4/packs, and did not get variants.

 

Going to check my Wegmans (Warrington) later today on the off chance they still have some. If not, a local bottle shop isn't getting their allotment until sometime next week, I'll wait and see.

In the meantime, here is the fruits of my labor from yesterday.

By labor, I mostly mean meeting Steve at Tired Hands for a beer and taking the stuff from his trunk to mine.

 

It's a tough job but somebody has to do it

 

so good. I'm thankful I was able to casually walk into bevmo and buy a case of reg bcbs with no trouble yesterday on my way to work. still ISO variants bc CA, but whatever - I keep telling myself this, but it's just beer.

I'm ISO Bourbon County Barleywine if anyone has any. Got hooked up on the regular stout, but had trouble with the barleywine (though a friend was nice enough to hook me up with a four pack!). If anyone has any barleywine to trade, message me. (Also interested in expanding for a bottle or two of coffee).

I will be up in Chicago/NWI next weekend (the 6th), and into Wednesday, so if anybody is interested in IP, Proprietor's is on the top of my list. I've got JK sours, and I'm not afraid to use them.

 

Where in IL will you be? I live up in northern IL but for the right price, may be able to work downtown for a day!
