@bostonbeans, @emottram, @bruindre, and other Boston SWTFYWers - I'm going to be in town for the marathon in a few weeks. It would be cool to hang out with any of you that are interested. Maybe a beer on Saturday night? Thinking Harpoon or anything else I can easily get to. Open to suggestions as well.

 

I admit, that's the hard part. I recommend lurking the international boards looking for people who seem to have the same mentality we do, and then strike up a conversation, that's how I've done it.

Though it also looks like you FIBs might just do a shared BiaB order, which is also a good way to go so that you aren't forced into a large purchase to make it worthwhile; trade or online order both need to be pretty big to balance out the shipping charges.

 

Sure....but no. Not Harpoon. I won't let you do it. Not when there are a lot of other (better) options.

Comment from Jeffers this morning about the release: "Barrelworks beer is not for resale. That's illegal. It's for all of you to enjoy and share. We've seen an up tick of our beer being resold and had to lower the purchase limit as a result. Help us police this so that we don't have to lower the purchase limits again."

I'm thinking limits will be 6 bottles on a 500 case production and 3 for anything lower.

I know a place that resales their beer that I'm not fond of at all(along with many others on this site), thinking about turning them in. What do you guys think?

 

I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but I'm so glad my OCD is not this bad. If nothing else, it'd be really time consuming...

Oh, and last night I drank 6 day old Galaxy DH FPPA while watching The Blacklist, ate some popcorn during Shark Tank, then fell asleep on the couch for two hours and went to bed.

This is, admittedly, nowhere near the first time this comparison has been made.

 

Where's he coming from/where's he going?

 

Box has landed from @bruindre Baby LIF. Winning this is cool for me as I'll be repaying the karma quickly and for the same reason when my wife delivers and I have two boxes (one here, one Locals) go out for the LIF I did for guessing deliver date/time, back when we were finding out the gender.

Anyway, since he used UPS, now I have to wait 5 hours before getting to open it! FedEx usually comes between 5-6pm, so it's weird knowing that it's already in my house....
