    I am drunk. 32 oz crowler of 11.8 % Hess Umbrix with Madagascar vanilla bean I dropped on last week... All I can say is wow and thank you for the idea whoever it was. Im getting that keg of KBS Friday and a keg of silva stout tomorrow. Do I hear more vanilla beans???

    Literally LOL'd. Applewood smoked salami from Whole Foods. Pretty damn tasty.

    Was my idea to crowler with a bean already in there :slight_smile: I'll accept my royalty payments in kind!

    You should be, so tasty... I had no idea that four days could transform a beer like that. Whoa?!? And yeah that's what I have always called all my favorite dried salamis at work. The best is when you have a little kid who wants to know where salami comes from, obviously with regular, cool parents the first answer is unicorns :wink:

    Definitely liked Surly more than FFF. Didn't have Real Ale. I enjoyed the beer, but it was not the best black IPA I've had, nor would I go out of my way to get it again. No regrets that I did try it, though.

    Also this post was shorter to quote, but glad everything got there safely! Shipping that Bernice made me nervous since it's such a lively beer -- anyone who was at 1.5 can attest to it opening a little violently and I worry that it could explode in shipping, although that has yet to happen to me. Batch 4 was just lively. Also it was September 2013... my memory was not correct. Either way, I hope you enjoy it!

    Also, I really appreciate it when others hold my diction with such high regard. It makes me feel good, and that's really what this is all about.

    There's one more box (for now) destined for a porch somewhere, which can now be deduced to be heading to someone to whom I've not previously sent beer.
