Now that is some friendly southern hospitality coming from the north, I like it. I don't remember which ones you got, but the pins colada, almond joy, or the mead would be wonderful. He did make my absolute favorite beer of all time when he infused bcbs with cherries. Awesome stuff!

 

Them days in between the weekends really suck. I get behind on the thread... see shit I want to reply to, then realize the conversation happened two days ago.
What ever. I'm pretty intoxicated at the moment, and enjoying it. Today has been a good day. Rocked a show in Chesapeake last night and stayed up drinking way later than I should have, then woke up earlier than I should have to a call from my buddy saying "get up man, let's go fishing!" Fuck it, I was still drunk and it was a beautiful morning!


Found the spot, drank some beer, caught some fucking fish then went home to drink more.
Today, session IPAs were my friend but the sun was not...my bald ass scalp is on fire!

 

Dude I'll get you a case of that if you want. Just say the word.

I just received some Pappy 15 as a gift from a very generous BA to help me continue the tradition of toasting the birth of my kids with my dad with something exceptional. The boys each were toasted with Johnny Walker Blue (the only two tastes of it I've had) but I don't have any more of it. As good as that stuff is, I feel like Pappy 15 is a step up, which seems appropriate since this will be my little girl.

Me and my girlfriend went fishing up on the Kern River today, was planning on fishing the creeks but didn't know the creeks were closed to fishing until the end of the month so had to fish the Kern River, had a couple hits but couldn't land em. Got skunked fishing but hit KRBC and got awesome food and beer! Just hit recorded beer number 499 whilst visiting KRBC. Struck gold when I stopped at a gas station and saw '15 Parabola sitting on the shelf for $14.99 I snagged 2! Now I'm drinking a '14 BCBBW right now and it is amazing! Tomorrow consists of a few hours of packing up beers so I can get 3 boxes out on Monday, 2 to peeps in this thread and one to a friend. Whilst packing I will crack open my '13 Darkness in celebration of my 500th new beer! I will now need to be on the hunt for an awesome beer that I can cellar and have for my 1000th
All in all, today was a great day! Hope every one also had an awesome Saturday!

The creature comforts stuff is good and fresh. The rub is some of the stuff a lot of competition guys use. It's great!!!

The illdium is the same base as unobtainium. Just in cognac barrels instead of bourbon. Inthink I sent you a two ear vertical of the unobtainium as well. Solid cap is the older one.
