I did. My wife signed up for the full and I did both. It was our first ever full marathons too. I ran the marathon with her, so I think that's why I was able to survive and walk fine the next day. I took the half slow too, to save up for the full. It was actually rather fun.

We packed beers with us in our suitcase and enjoyed them post race!

So......I am working and my Ipod is playing in the background. Song comes on that every damn time I hear it, I need to turn it up and shut my office door! (and no it's not Lawrence Welk!)

Currently on hold with American Air who in their infinite wisdom have decided that
my wife and I want to take flights 6 hours apart from each other and gone ahead
and changed our reservations.

 

Always wanted to do a pumpkin tasting and the only responses I got was
"No", "Fuck no" and "You're a fucking idiot"

 

I pretty much ignore the heckling..........I consider myself exactly what they called you! @Tertullian007 is coming from St Louis..........care to drive down from up north??

I also have friends that aren't beer geeks but like pumpkin beers......a lot. They will be showing up. Others who make the trip will be rewarded with a handshake, lots of food (which I hope they enjoy), good company, hospitality and lots of beer.............and not just pumpkin beer.

All and I mean all are welcome. I just ask that you let me know so I can make sure to have enough of everything food/beer wise.

 

Thanks for the reminder, I need to bug my wife about going to this again. Gonna try the "ask so many times she eventually gives in" tact.
