Huge thanks to jdhowe for a great box. Unfortunately, I am flying to his home state currently and I am between between flights. On a brighter note, I will be visiting two of the breweries he sent me coasters from, tonight. The wife was kind enough to send me some pictures of the beers though. He may have to explain the contents of the altoids tins to me though:[IMG]

FedEx's tracking info hasn't updated yet today, but delivery of Box 1 is still scheduled for tomorrow.

My target posted that he has his sender narrowed down to a handful of people. This last hint should make it pretty obvious if he hasn't figured it out already:

My target's BA name has something in common with my employer's symbols on the NYSE (hint for this hint: check my profile).

I'm glad everything made it safely! Sorry for the lackluster swag... I am trying my damnedest to land something for a follow-up but having some difficulty... but either way, some things are set aside for box #2 (that will admittedly be a little smaller, but should still be delicious).

The HT was canned June 1st, so sorry about that -- I tried to get fresher, but ended up having to just send the last can I had on-hand. The Pliny and Blind Pig, on the other hand, should both be fresh (8/02 and 7/26).

The Altoids tins were just to make noise to try to mask the sloshing of the box -- no other reason. I taped them shut because they're full of pennies and nails -- nothing delicious.

I noticed the list is missing the Old Viscosity, but the Older is definitely the bigger of the two, despite its smaller size.

I had Racer 15, the Pumpkin Barleywine, and the Beer Camp #94 for the first time the other day and they were all quite good.

Enjoy your trip to CA, and more swag will be on its way shortly.

Had a dream I opened the front door to 4 boxes of beer...brought one in and saw two stemwares somehow intact through. An opening in the top...woke up to an empty porch. Shoulda went to work today! Bummer.

Target. They tried delivering but of course couldn't...should be waiting for you...you got off work, don't you have a smart phone to update us with? (I myself have a flip phone, and those use to be the shit!!!)

Hopehead, you have much more faith in Fedex than I do. But the box made it safe with everything intact. He nailed a bunch of wants and mixed in some local and different styles of beer. Fantastic box! I haven't decided what will go in the fridge first, but I am thinking it will be the flower power.

The little in stature, but not in taste:
Brasserie Dieu Du Ciel - Route Des Épices (peppercorn rye beer, why the hell not)
DFH Burton Baton (heard great things, never had it)
Clown Shoes Swagger (new to me)
Founders Imperial Stout (I might pop this one to celebrate Founders finally making it to FL)
Ithaca Flower Powers (How was this not on my wants list?)
New Holland BA Dragon’s Milk (Want!)
Troegs Mad Elf (unfamiliar with this one, but sounds like a crazy complex and tasty brew)
Yards Cape of Good Hope (local IPA, yes please)
The big boys and heavy hitters:
Ballast Point Imperial Porter (distro to FL, but I have yet to try this one, Want)
Evil Twin Justin Blabaer (excited to taste blabaer fever)
Hoppin Frog BA Naked Evil –(never had a BA Barley wine, sounds like a perfect beer to get me hooked)
    GI Nighstalker (syle want)
Nectar Ales Black Xantus (style want)
GI BCBS (should have been a want, bc who doesn’t want more of this)
    Westy 12 (Seriously? - Mega Want )
2x Oskar Blues Ten Fidy (Want! – 1 for now and 1 for later)

And since I am waiting til Monday to ship, a little non-descript/slight light fuzzy pre-shipment pron to wet my targets appetite

I meant to put in a note to this effect, but this forum also works: one of the Ten Fidys is an '11, while the other is a '12.

I'm glad you enjoyed the box and that I was able to hit some Wants! Let me know how you enjoy the beers

    Dear Target,

35.7 lbs are on their way to the FedEx store shortly. While my cellar's junk is not as sizable or well-seasoned as some, I think you'll be pleased with the selections.

Your tracking number would be so easy to see if you just had these Red Sox players standing side by side…

Felix Doubront, JD Drew, Daniel Nava, Bobby Doerr, Stephen Drew, Mark Scutaro, “00000”, Cody Ross.

not saying it's you buuuuut the second 4-digit is related to the aforementioned business in West Hartford. Also, should have said "added to" instead of "plus" because you have three digits left to complete the second number. Also, one of your first guesses on the last three digits of the first tracking number is correct. I'm exhausted now.

    Also, to my target:

I was able to hit 13 wants, and some that may have turned to ticks after I first posted in this thread. Weighted average somewhere north of 93. Lowest rating is 85, highest are 100. If you're not stoked when you get these bombs, I'm going to literally cry bc feels.

While FedEx hasn't updated their status since around noon on Tuesday, two boxes are still scheduled to fuck a porch sideways on the West Coast tomorrow afternoon. I expect beer ****. That is all.

Well thru some deducrion i have figured you are my sender. I must say i am very excited about what will be waiting for me.It shall be picked up tommrow noonish when it makes it to the drop off. From what fedex said to me is that it takes a while for the request info to get to the driver and since they tried to deliver it that it will be droped off at their location tommrow around noon and you can be damn sure i am going to go on my lunch hour to pick it up. Also let me say a pre thank you for it. I do have a smart phone and when i get it there will be beer **** pics up.

Today is a slight let down after so many great hauls from yesterday. Where's all the beer? More importantly where's my beer? At least where's my beer coming from? Little help? Anyone? No? :slight_frown:

Edit: Posted this at the same time as the haul above. Getting better, but we still need more ****.
