SWTFYW Hints and Hauls!!!

I just stopped trying.

 

I can't imagine trying to explain this particular group, but when explaining trading in general, or BIFs, I try to keep it as succinct as possible, and know going in that the person will only 'get it' about 10%, and that to get them even to 50% would be far too much explaining.

BIF in a Box - I definitely want in, but having only just joined this thread, how do I know I'm on the list?

 

Stay tuned---when the box finishes it's first lap and makes it's way back to Haywire, that will be when round 2 gets started.

 

I'll put out a call for signups in a couple weeks. We still have about 3-4 more weeks til we're down to the final three. I was planning on doing signups around that time so once the box hits my porch I'll just fill er up and send it right back out.

If you want, I can just add you to the list now. Just shoot me a BM with your shipping info (name, address, phone, shirt size) and I'll put you on the list.

 

BM sent, I'm looking forward to it. So does the box get sent only to someone who hasn't gotten it yet, or just not to the person who sent it to you? Also, if it's a 12 shipper with 12 bottles, should I assume that means "no extras"? Given the theme of this thread seems to be "bomb someone's porch early and often", my instinct would be to find a way to jam something extra in there but I'm not sure how i'd do it.

 

In the past, at least when I got the box, there is a 12 shipper box and a larger box enclosing it with space for extras (i.e. glassware, beers, stickers, coloring books, random food items). Generally, take and replace with the extras.

 

yeah, i would just wait until the box lands again so you can see. also, im sure once the box makes its way to you, it will all make sense.

 

It started off as just a 12 shipper, a couple extras and a glass. The box now weighs somewhere around 50lbs and contains on average a 12 shipper, 6 extras, swag, and tits.

 

that sounds more like what i'd expect from the cool kids table.

 

Is there a cliff notes version of what is going on here?

 

I like the gang bang idea. Can we look into that more and establish if it's viable? I haven't been in a good gang bang since <insert generic date for punchline here>.

Nice. Sounds more like the BA I used to know. I kind of abandoned trading (even posting at all really) here after I started noticing people were overwhelmingly and increasingly trying to "win" trades and behaviors of the like. Maybe when I get more time I'll try to scan through the thread to see how this whole thing evolved, because for now all I can tell is SWTFYW (I don't know what it even stands for) was a regular shotgun BIF that morphed into something else completely.

Damn, Haven't posted since Friday so assuming this means I'm OUT! Another one bites the dust. Down to 3 potential senders now I think - One OG, one who hasn't posted in almost 2 weeks, and one who hasn't posted here at all.

 

I wish they would start shipping this to northeastern NC! Seems we miss out on all the good NC breweries
