Well damn, I never thought this thread might bring me close to tears that weren't from laughing. Thank you for your sacrifice and the sacrifice of your brothers.

 

What makes Lawrence's death worse is that his wife was pregnant and his baby girl was born a week after he passed.

 

Every so often you meet someone that truely Is a good person and someone you hope your kids grow up to be like. This person ends up becoming a really good friend and someone you can not only trust but rely on and bring you beer so often . Someone that not only serves his country during active duty but all the time. Bob (@Haywire ) is that kinda person. Tonight I drink toasting you and your fellow marines.

 

The #hoist2heroes just got a lot more real. I'll be at Jester King on Monday, its my birthday, but Memorial day just got a lot more important. I don't have friends who died in duty, but I have friends who didn't come back the same. Thanks for reminding us, me especially, what the day is really about and the sacrifice so many brothers and sisters make.

 

I see what you did there. You're trying to butter me up so I smear peanut butter on your chest for the next insane LIF.
