Yeah I doubt I see it. But sometimes my beer guy at the local bottle shop holds onto some stuff for me that never sees the shelf. He'll probably never get it bit if he does, I'm usually one of the first to find out.

So quick question for the SE PA guys. I'm gonna get to Tired Hands at 3:30pm. I need to pick my cousins up from 30th St Station at 4:15. Do I have enough time for a flight and a growler fill before they arrive?

What did you think of the Nocturn? I got a couple coming in the mail this week and I'm a huge Oregon blackberry fan!

It was very good. Apparently everyone thought b1 was much better tho. Also had it last in a long night of drinking awesome beers.

They won't do flights; you're allowed one (sometimes two) beers at a time. Growler fills can be super quick if it's not too busy, but I've been there when it's taken 20+ minutes to get a growler filled (especially if you're getting a fill of one of the more popular beers). You unfortunately probably won't have time to try more than one or two beers and get a growler if you want to make it to 30th St. Station by 4:15.

It'll be tight as Steve said, but hey, the cousins can wait--what other option do they have?
Edit: assuming that was 3:30 today, then never mind since you're already there.

There are so many PA guys on here, I can't resist asking for help with this. I'm headed from central NY to D.C. in July to pretend to be a Nats fan for a weekend. I want to maximize potential beer-related pit stops. My current thought is to take Route 1 (1st pic below) on the way there and then take Route 2 (2nd pic) and stop at Tired Hands on the way home. Any other breweries/sweet bottle shops anyone can recommend along those routes? I don't have time for more than maybe 2 or 3 stops each way.

Your answers will help me begin dreaming about this road trip so that I have something positive to think about while I suffer through wrapping up my classes, completing grading, yada yada yada.

definitely my stomping grounds so i'll look more closely at the routes and find some stuff. if you want to BM me the start and end addresses, i can play with it in google maps and get a couple ideas for you.

Looks like you'll be driving through Harrisburg area on your way; it'd be a sin NOT to stop at Al's of Hampden/Pizza Boy or Troegs. Forest and Main is only a little off your route on the way home as well; it would be pretty easy to swing up that way after Tired Hands before heading home.
